Zepto Cafe
Snacc · Prototype
Capstone · Repeat-order lift

Turn one-time snackers into weekly regulars.

Office snack decisions happen in 30-second breaks. This prototype rebuilds the Cafe tab around Snacc, trust labels, and one-tap reorder — the three levers we heard repeatedly in user interviews.

Try the full flow
  1. 1. Tap an office chip or the Snack Mode banner.
  2. 2. Add Vietnamese Cold Coffee + Chili Cheese Toast.
  3. 3. Place order → watch tracking → rate on delivery.
  4. 4. Return home → tap Repeat your coffee break for 1-tap reorder.

UX heuristics we follow

Nielsen's 10 + a few UX laws — mapped to concrete screens.

  1. 1
    Visibility of system status
ETA badge, cart badge, live order tracker, snack-window banner.
  2. 2
    Match with the real world
Language mirrors the office break — “4 PM snack”, “Team Tea”, “Filling under ₹149”.
  3. 3
    User control & freedom
Back arrows on every screen; qty steppers with − / +; “Undo” on cart removals.
  4. 4
    Consistency & standards
Same LabelChip, ItemCard, and Section components across screens.
  5. 5
    Error prevention
Free-delivery progress bar prevents surprise fees; portion/temperature labels prevent bad picks.
  6. 6
    Recognition over recall
Your usuals, Repeat your break, Most reordered near your office — all pre-surfaced.
  7. 7
    Flexibility & efficiency
One-tap reorder for regulars; browse-and-decide for new users.
  8. 8
    Aesthetic & minimalist design
Only 3 bottom-nav tabs; each card shows max 2 trust chips.
  9. 9
Help users recognise & recover from errors
Empty cart has a clear next step (“Browse snack mode”).
  10. 10
    Help & documentation
“What our labels mean” legend on home explains every trust chip.
  11. 11
    Hick's Law
Menu split into 5 snack windows + 6 office chips — smaller decision sets, faster picks.
  12. 12
    Fitts's Law
Sticky bottom CTAs (Add to cart / Place order) are large and thumb-reachable.
  13. 13
    Jakob's Law
Delivery-app patterns users already know: sticky ETA, ADD button, cart bar.
  14. 14
    Peak–end rule
Delivery moment ends with celebratory success + 6-chip feedback — not a long form.
  15. 15
    Zeigarnik effect
Progress bar to free delivery + tracking checkpoints keep the task open in mind.
